Lufthansa MySkyStatus.com

Working for digital ad agency, Profero, Amos strategized with the Profero creative team and the Lufthansa New York office about how best to bring their concept of a living, breathing flight status resource to fruition.  MySkyStatus.com allows users to broadcast their current travel status to friends and relatives over a variety of social networks, including Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn integration.

Through an extensive process of competitive analysis and ultimately leveraging our social network expertise, we drafted the full set of information architecture and user experience flow diagrams for both mobile and traditional web, showing how Lufthansa could strategically promote their best-in-class flight tracking data while providing a valuable experience with enough incentives that web weary world travelers would want to come back again and again.

MySkyStatus made the London International Awards 2010 Digital Shortlist, honoring creativity and new ideas in Advertising, Design and Digital media.

Emirates Airline Mobile App

Working for ad agency, Atmosphere BBDO, we built a series of user experience and information architecture documents outlining the features and functionality of a new mobile app for Emirates Airlines to show off the incomparably luxurious white-glove service of the airline.  The app, like the airline, is smooth, sophisticated, and seamless, providing an array of powerful tools, services, and amenities at your fingertips.

Person of the Day – NYC iPhone App

New York is a city known for its “characters” – people who lead unusual and interesting lives.  Each day, Person of the Day – NYC features one such person.  Part iPhone application, part website and Twitter feed, Person of the Day – NYC is an integrated celebration of the diversity and madness that is New York City.

Web Home

Viewing a photo and short biography of the featured person each day will renew your love of life and interest in humanity – the type that lurks in subway entrances and eats pizza while walking in the rain.  Furthermore, Person of the Day – NYC will give you just another thing to poke with your index finger while you’re commuting on the subway (yes, the data is cached on your iPhone while you’re underground).

M2M Mobile Museum Guide

The M2M Mobile Museum Guide is a proposal done in collaboration with Jared Lamenzo and Shagun Singh to allow visitors to the American Museum of Natural History to augment their museum experience using Sony’s Playstation portable console.

Due to space constraints, the museum is only able to display limited information about any exhibit.  Furthermore, at any given time, only a small fraction of the museum’s collection can be displayed.  Through a partnership with Sony, the M2M Mobile Museum Guide will create rich interactive experiences that bring to life the valuable artifacts in the museums possession in a way that engages and enhances the educational experience latent in each exhibit.

Visitors will be able to delve deeper into the topics touched upon in the exhibits.  With the M2M Mobile Museum Guide, students can play educational games with other students, like treasure hunts in the museum’s collection, take fun quizzes that cover the core topics of each exhibit, bookmark favorite artifacts on display and later retrieve that list of favorites with links to more information about each artifact on the museum’s website.

Pac-Manhattan

Pac-Manhattan is a large-scale urban game that utilizes the New York City grid to recreate the 1980′s video game sensation Pac-Man. This analog version of Pac-man is being developed in NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications graduate program, in order to explore what happens when games are removed from their “little world” of tabletops, televisions and computers and placed in the larger “real world” of street corners, and cities.

Pac-Manhattan revolutionized the field of location-based gaming.  It has been picked up and played by teams across the globe.
